OUR APPROACH TO ANAL BLEACHING
Our intimate bleaching treatment helps suppress the activity of melanocytes, which are the pigment-producing cells found throughout the body and in higher concentrations in the genital and anal regions. Pigmentation can vary naturally between individuals and may increase due to friction, hormonal factors, or environmental influences.
By utilizing a customized brightening cream protocol, we tailor each treatment plan to the patient’s goals and baseline skin tone. Patients are also provided with education on proper post-treatment care to help maintain and optimize their results over time.
Pre-Care
It is important to follow the correct pre-care instruction to make the most of your procedure. Here are our guidelines:
No waxing, shaving, or chemical hair removal (ex. Nair) for 2 days before or after using intimate bleaching cream.
No open sores or lesions.
If you have a medical history of herpes infections then you must begin antivirals 3 days before the start of the bleaching cream and take a small daily dose throughout treatment. You can discontinue after treatment is completed.
Post-Care
It is important to follow the correct after care instruction to make the most of your procedure. Here are our guidelines:
Do not apply cream for 24 hours after shaving, waxing, or laser hair removal.
Avoid friction and excessive heat to the treated area for at least 8 hours.
Refrain from receptive anal activity of any kind (bottoming, rimming, etc…) for 5-7 days.
Do not exfoliate your skin or use products that may cause irritation.
Resume moisturizing the treated area as needed.

However, if you’re doing laser hair removal in the anal area where you also have darker pigmentation, our med spa for men may recommend bleaching the intimate area. This will help to lighten the skin so the laser can be set at a higher setting to deliver optimal results.
The longevity of intimate bleaching varies. Patients who lift several shades (usually more than 3 shades) rarely return to their baseline darkness, but will gradually darken over time. In patients who only lifted 1-2 shades, they may see themselves returning to baseline in one to two years.
Yes! At your scheduled appointment patients will receive a prescription for a medical-grade anal bleaching cream and have the entire protocol reviewed with InjectorChris. The patient will complete the anal bleaching process at home.
Yes. It is important to remove the bleaching cream prior to any anal play. If any irritation is present after sex it is advised to wait 1-2 days before resuming use of the bleaching cream.
Our intimate area bleaching consultation costs $500 and includes a prescription and 1 refill of the medical grade bleaching cream. The cream costs about $75, plus shipping from our trusted compounding pharmacy.
Expected results should be noticeable in 4-6 weeks. If a patient wants to possibly go lighter after utilizing the additional refill, we can assess to determine the next best steps.

While our bleach for genital areas has consistently provided great results, we do find that a great portion of the result varies on the patient. Being consistent with the pre and post-treatment regimen is crucial to receiving optimal results. Some patients with extensive hyperpigmentation may see substantial results, while others with minimal hyperpigmentation may only see 1-2 shades lifted.
Yes! We highly recommend laser hair removal, as the friction from shaving, waxing, etc. can darken the skin.
While using the bleaching cream, patients may experience some mild dryness and irritation but nothing difficult to tolerate. Keeping the area hydrated will help to soothe any side effects.
