Botox forHyperhidrosis

What is Botox for Hyperhidrosis For?

Neuromodulators like BOTOX® and Xeomin® can be used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). Injecting into the underarm eccrine glands (sweat glands) helps to reduce or eliminate excessive underarm sweating caused by the medical condition axillary hyperhidrosis. It takes 2 weeks for the neuromodulator to fully block the receptors in the sweat glands. Results last around 3-4 months, you can always return to our men’s aesthetic clinic in NYC to receive another round of treatment when you feel like it has worn off.

OUR APPROACH TO BOTOX FOR HYPERHIDROSIS

Patients seeking a solution to drastically reduce underarm sweating are strong candidates for underarm Botox. Numbing is provided prior to treatment, and ProNox (laughing gas) is available for additional comfort if desired.

We utilize a multi-needle device to inject neuromodulator evenly across the underarm area. Injection time per underarm is brief, and discomfort is minimal.

Pre-Care

Proper preparation helps ensure optimal treatment results.

It is important to follow the correct after care instruction to make the most of your procedure. Here are our guidelines:
