Cheek Filler

What Is Cheek Filler For?

Lushful Aesthetics, a leading NYC aesthetic clinic, utilizes a minimally invasive cheek filler technique that provides temporary, long-lasting results that slowly fade over approximately three years.

Cheek filler is used to restore volume, provide structural support, and enhance the medial and lateral aspects of the face. This treatment helps create balance and definition while supporting the face globally.

OUR APPROACH TO CHEEK FILLER

At Lushful Aesthetics, we believe the cheeks should define and provide structure to enhance the face globally. Most patients require approximately 2–3 syringes to optimally enhance the cheeks.

Filler is injected strategically into the lateral aspects of the face to create a more defined, chiseled appearance. The medial cheeks are treated when volume loss is present. This non-surgical facial enhancement uses a single entry point with a cannula on each side of the face to help reduce bruising and vascular complications.

Filler in the cheeks slowly fades away over 3 years, depending on what product is utilized during the cheek filler procedure.

This depends on the cheek filler product utilized. If hyaluronic acid-based fillers are utilized, then yes, the HA filler is completely dissolvable. If Radiesse® is utilized, it can be partially dissolved. The remaining amount of filler will need to break down naturally over 2-3 years.

Typically, cheek fillers take at least 2 weeks to settle. However, some patients may have residual swelling and should expect to wait at least 4 weeks to appreciate the final result.

Patients with excessive cheek volume or heavily defined cheekbones should most likely avoid cheek filler and focus on balancing other aspects of their face. This can be discussed during your appointment.

Yes. The cheeks are one of the most common areas for patients to inject. As a results oriented med spa for men, we almost always recommend patients receive cheek filler to balance out when they receive jawline filler for optimal results.
