Pre-Care
Please follow these pre-care guidelines before receiving ShowTox® treatment.
Avoid alcohol consumption for 3 days prior to receiving genital botox injections.
Consult with your medical provider if you are able to discontinue blood thinning medication such as Ibuprofen, Excedrin, Aspirin, Aleve, and Fish Oil.
Post-Care
It is important to follow the correct after care instruction to make the most of your procedure. Here are our guidelines:
No working out or sex for 24 hours after receiving Botox.
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated areas for 4 hours.
Swelling and bruising should be expected for about a week. There may be very mild swelling and bruising that lingers into the second week.

We utilize a prescription strength topical numbing cream and we also provide our med spa patients the option to utilize ProNox (laughing gas) to make them comfortable before the penile botox treatment. With both of these modalities, patients report little to no pain.
Similar to traditional Botox treatments, the effects of this procedure typically take about two weeks to fully develop. You should expect some minor changes within the first few days as the Botox starts to take effect, and the full results of penile Botox—a more relaxed, fuller look for the penis—will be visible around the two-week mark.
Yes, patients should expect mild bruising and swelling for a week after botox penile injection treatment, but this is minimal downtime compared to invasive procedures.

We’ve done a thorough amount of research and testing on the proper dosage necessary to achieve optimal results. We found that 300 units deliver the best result for Botox penile enlargement and Botox for erectile dysfunction. Using less can significantly reduce the treatment’s effectiveness and impact on performance, circulation, and overall volume.
